Nope!
I was thinking more along the lines of a service that would use LHR and LGW, completing the circle of Virgin USA and VS.
Connecting in AMS or Brussels isn't my idea of convenient.
They could always merge with an existing carrier. How about bmi! Now there's a thought! [:p]
Cheers!

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before something like that will happen. IIRC, Virgin Express is only a young pup
LOL - how surprising that that old chestnut comes out

Sorry I know this is way off topic but is it just me or does anyone else think a merger with BMI would be a bad thing [?]
It would not doubt dilute the current VS product to something pretty much like every other airline + I dont like the BMI cabin crews.

IMHO, I think if Virgin Express merged with BD, it wouldn't have any real negative impact on Virgin Atlantic - it'd probably complement the service, like Buffers said. Unless of course, it was done wrongly ("OMG, if Virgin can't even get European flights right, WTF are they like to go Trans-Atlantic on?"). On the other hand, if it's done really well, it could even boost revenue ("Wow, Virgin are so good when I fly to Europe on business, maybe I'll book my holiday flight to the USA/etc.. with them")
I personally don't have a problem with the BD cabin crews, but I reckon if any of them didn't fit in with the Virgin spirit they'd be visiting a certain dole queue once a fortnight [8D]
