V-Flyer

Obviously I understand that V-Flyer is in no way connected VS etc.. but I just wondered after reading through some old posts and due to some of the comments made on here, do Pixuk or any of the Mods have a contact within VS for any inside info/upcoming plans/changes??

If not how does everybody get their info as I have noticed that quite a few predictions made in posts a while ago have come true (G-VXLG going LGW/MAN config as just 1 example)

You are correct; V-Flyer is not connected with Virgin Atlantic, but a completely independent site. While we do have a few contacts at VS we are not privvy to confidential information. After watching the airline's actions for awhile people with a keen interest -- that's us -- can try and predict what's next and sometimes we're right!

The other thing to keep in mind here is that a number of VS staffers, some publicly identified and others not, are regular contributors to V-Flyer. Their insights and opinions are not usually made on behalf of VS, but as individuals, and their membership here complements what we're trying to offer on V-Flyer -- a place where all things VS can be discussed and where we can have fun in the process.

In addition from time to time Pix and LRoM visit with senior VS personnel and get clued in on stuff that may be in the pipeline.
