Next Day Option?

I'm in Vegas right now and have the luxury of not having to be back in the days after my flight back to the UK.

I know that my flight back if full. So because I'm in no rush....

What can I expect if I give up my seat in PE and take the following days flight?

Thanks for any advice,

AC

VS will reaccomodate you subject to whatever disruption policy is in force.

All you can do is phone up and ask, but it's likely that you won't "get anything" for asking to make a change to your booking - as while the flight might be full, if you ask before you get to the airport, I'm guessing you're considered to be a rebooking, rather than a voluntary offload.

Cheers,
Mike

Sorry, maybe I didn't make my point clear enough.

I will check-in as normal but put my name forward if they need my seat.

Look at the "Denied Boarding" section on this page:

If VS are asking for vol-offs, you can put your name forward, and if you are offloaded you'll get a "Virgin Select" voucher which will get you money off or a free flight in the future. They'll also sort you out with food and overnight accomodation, as approriate.

Sometimes, if you're very lucky, when they are trying to fit everyone on, and you've volunteered to be offloaded, you might end up with an operational upgrade and still travel, if there is space available.

Cheers,
Mike
