VS007

Good evening.

Hopefully someone can set my mind at rest.

In September I'm due to fly to LAX on VS007 before connecting to LAS with TED. As such I've been keeping my eye on the flight times and have noticed that 007 has been extremly late departing.

Is this cause

1. It's a knock-on from last weeks events?
2. A flight usually subject to delays?
3. A combination of both?

It's been a full 6 years since I last landed in LAX and can't remember if it was late.

Thanks in advance.

It's 99.9% a result of 1 - a knock-on from last week's events.

LHR T3 security is still overloaded during the am which unfortunately is affecting the VS7 more than the VS23.

I would check your status with TED incase you miss your connection - get yourself a backup plan just to be safe. :D

Get yourself a backup plan.

I allowed 3 hours for transit through Atlanta on the way to Orlando last November thinking that would be plenty of time.

I made the connecting flight by the skin of my teeth, in fact I was the last one on, and they were shutting the door behind me !

This despite landing in Atlanta from London on time.

I wouldn't worry too much. TED has four flights to LAS from LAX beginning at 5pm, with the last departing around 10pm.

Oh dear, broken again.

Still very unreliable, anything up to 3 hours late leaving.

It's got nothing to do with the aircraft. The delays are caused by the new security measures, primary reason being the clearance of the inbound pax by the TSA in the USA.
