I have just read csparkers recnet trip report and he mentioned the Microsoft Guy and how much he travels.

I then sat down and realised just how sad I am, I keep a record for Mr Tax in the UK and I have spent about 744 hours in the sky in the last year, add to that the Check in travel to and from etc and I reckon that by the end of July I will have "Lived" at an airport for 2 months of the year, and done about 409,000 miles.

If only I could claim overtime for the time in the sky, it woul be upper class every trip then.

I am interested, when you sit down and think about it, what does everyone else have to do (I make the assumption that doing a lot will be work not pleasure) for work.

I now know why I have no friends, and all this time I thought it was because I am ugly.

Edited to give credit to the rightful inspiration for the post!

That would have been my trip report.

Chris Parr is someone else (or an imposter).

Bluefish - you and CSParker have earned that gold card you carry... and then some ;)

I love to fly, but even UC flying must become a chore after that amount of time in airports and in the air.

sorry csparker, my mistake

Well nick i find the biggest benefit is I now sleep on planes, when i started doing it, I used to eat all the food, wahtch all the films and never be able to understand why I am knackered, now I am so boared of it I usually sleep.

Very little in Upper Class, one in 5 or 6 flights, mostly PE on Virgin, and a few in First on BA now via Lisbon

Bluefish

At the moment, I fly more for pleasure than business - only 1 or 2 trips for work, 3 or 4 for pleasure per year :)

And yeah, overtime for flying would be fantastic :D

Cheers

been called a lot of things but imposter thanx:D

I have always travelled for pleasure.I still enjoy all flights upfront or in the middle, even the ones down the back are ok (particularly on VS thanks to clubhouse anesthetics and a couple of preorder bottles of Moet).
Just did 10 hours in Lisbon onto 48hours in Seattle loved every second of it 28 hours in the air out of 80. Arrived home fresh as a daisy probably been a little different had we not been in FC.
