I have only just realised that this web site has started to give seat ratings for 747-400 LHR & LGW and A340 & A346 aircraft, no ratings for the new suite configuration.

How long has this site made reference to VS aircraft and did they get any of their ratings from this site? Pixuk have you been consulted or have they helped themselves to the really useful information from V-flyer?

Nope, no contact from them. Some of the comments look familiar, but then I guess they are standard comments in regards to certain sections of the aircraft.

It'll be interesting if and when they do publish a Suite config for the A346, since the one on V-Flyer is the only one published at the moment.

Still, if you've found this site, then you already know where to look for the definitive Virgin seat maps ;)

Hey guys

On the matter of seat maps, could someone pelase indicate for me where the steps for the upper deck (PE) start from on the lower deck of the LGW 747-400. A number of other sites (including seatguru) don't show it either.

A supplementary question would be: which/where is the boarding point for these flights?

Cheers.

I believe the steps go up from row 25ABC on the LGW aircraft. Not sure about boarding points - might depend on the airport - but door 1 is just behind zone A of Upper, and door 2 is just behind zone B (and just in front of row 25)

Thanks for that Pix

Just to keep you on your toes ... another question! Which WCs (ever the practical!) do the PE pax using rows 11/12 on LGW-MCO get to use? Main reason for asking is to find out if the pax from Y get to come through to use the ones between Zone A and B.

Hope to hear from you.

Cheers.

I can't remember which ones I used (probably the ones behind row 23), but I don't remember anyone from Y coming up to use the ones between A&B.

Didnt see much for Virgin, but their ratings are pretty good for the other American carriers.
