According to MCO's website its still running and is due to arrive from Gatwick 20mins after VS075[?][?][?] here

Sorry I couldn't answer your question storton. I'd imagine that people booked onto this flight would be re-booked onto other flights and maybe VS075/073 the next day and put up in hotels if necessary.

Hope this helps.

I've shortened your link VS075

Why does it say the VS73 has departed LGW though when it's a MAN flight [:?]

Regards

This is confusing me now. I've just checked that link again that I posted and its saying that VS073 ex-MAN is 'CANCELLED' but VS073 ex-LGW is due in at 16:12 EST.

I'm well confused[?][?][?]

The other odd thing is, if you look on the VS web site it says:

Flight number VS 73P
Departure date 31 Aug 2006
Route Manchester,UK (MAN) to Orlando (MCO)
Scheduled departure time 31 Aug 13:30
Scheduled arrival time 31 Aug 17:40
Flight status CANCELLED

The P at the end of the flight number for positioning flight [:?] [:?]

VS073 seems to have been cancelled quite often lately, bit worrying being that I am supposed to be on it Thurs 2nd Nov

EGG

My parents are on the VS73 a couple of days after you and their flight is virtually full in Y and J but oddly enough nearly empty in W. They will be in Y.

Well, I was working down at MAN yesterday so I thought I would be cheeky and ask why it was cancelled

The MCO-LGW was delayed and there were more people on the LGW-MCo than on MAN-MCO so it was easier to send the plane for Gatwick.
I then asked if the VS073 passengers would be on the following mornings flight. They told me they had phoned the people on the sfternoon flight and told them they could be on the earlier flight

I am also supposed to be flying back from Orlando to MAN on VS 074 on Nov 3rd. Do they cancel often and if so, what will they do when I arrive at the airport in Orlando and they have no jet for me to fly home on?

Are Virgin good at customer service ?
