Thanking Cabin Crew ( letter)

Hi,
I flew Upper Class on VS 300 to Delhi ( 21st August) and VS 301 back to Heathrow on 27th August). Both flights were very good and made much better by the fact that the Upper Class Purser on the outbound flight and the FSM on the return flight recognised me from a previous flight (since it was over a year since flying with them I was extremely impressed) and we chatted a while at the bar in both directions.
I am writing a complimentary letter to VS and was wondering ; is it better to write to Customer relations or to a specific department ( ie Cabin crew)
Thanks.
Regards

Don't know the answer, but just wanted to say[^], good to hear people writing when things go right/you receive a good service rather than only when things are wrong/bad service received etc, we should all do it more im my opinion.

Wouldn't SRB's office be the best bet, TBS?
120 Campden Hill Road
LONDON
W8 7AR
or to him at Manor Royal in Crawley?

I think whoever you write to it generally ends up in Customer Relations.
If you can name the crew and it was particularly good ask for a Heroes Nomination and they could end up going to the awards, winning a prize or just get a big gold star next their HR File!

Have been recognised only once before, but I agree, it certainly adds a lot to the qualoty of your flight.

When I wanted to thank a cabin crew member I was told the best course of action was to write the letter to the crew member & send it to Manor Royal. This is because a copy of the letter goes onto the crew members file.I don't know if this system still applies.

I did a nomination last year via the 'contact us' page of the web. Sadly it took 2 months to get a reply to it and I'm not convinced it was passed on.

I sent an email via Customer Services last year following outstanding service by a crew member. I asked that the email be attached to his file and I received an email thanking me, informing that it would be passed on to the member concerned and his line manager and a note would be placed on his file. I also nominated him for a Heroes award
The previous year I had nominated someone from the JFK Clubhouse for a Heroes award. When I met him the following year he told me it was on his file and it meant so much to him to have it there, even though it was only a nomination

As you're gold I would address it to the premier team and email them.
Whenever we get good service we always write to premier team and online comment as well as hero nomination while on board as that really seems to make their day or night.

Hi Kenjohn,
Thanks for that.
Unfrotunately it looks like the nomination period is now closed but I will need to keep an eye out for the next heat.
