Have you checked the VS site to see what the cost of a ticket would be on those dates (you are now able to see the booking class on the VS site?) and also are you sure there are actually L fares available for the flight you want?

I have fare basis LLXGB available for both sectors which is £163 x 2 plus taxes?? Did you get your fare off VA.com or Expertflyer James???
It's only £10 difference but hey could be £10 in your pocket!! [:p]

I've recently purchased a couple of L's for LHR-DXB for travel next April, they were exactly £458.30 each (purchased over phone with FC)

Hey guys just to let you know it cost £440.30 for an L class. I just paid the difference between the N and the L class and used my miles to upgrade to prem economy. Loads seem light at the moment. Only 3 people in premium for the outbound on the 25th and on the way back on the 1st Oct at the moment its just me! Seems i have the whole cabin to myself!! [:p]
