Yay! :D

I just booked next year's holiday (Tokyo again, loved it this Spring) and found out about the offer from the agent at the Virgin Holidays call centre. You can use the Eurostar tickets anytime up to the end of July 2007.

It is a great offer.

Don't feel deprived though if you booked in August and therefore don't qualify for the offer.

There is a bug on the Virgin Holidays website that still lets you get the Eurostar tickets through manage my booking:D

Be careful though as it will remove any discounts applied to your booking, so just give Virgin holidays a call and tell them to sort it out through thier system. They may say you don't qualify because you didn't book in September, but if you push them they will give you the freebies because they have to honour the website!!!![y]

Have just put the phone down to them all sorted

Its not showing up on "manage my booking", is it meant too? I added it on my phone as I did not want the website to take my 10% off.

Hi Claire,
It should show on manage my booking at the bottom, under excursions. Give them a couple of days to update.

Hi, its showing on manage my booking now, I was a bit worried last time I phoned to add transfers and change a spelling mistake on my daughters surname it appeared straight away.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the eurostar offer to arrive?

AFAIK updates are done daily to the manage my booking section, so if you call just after an update has been done then it could be nearly 24 hours before it shows, where as if you call just before the update it done then it might show instantly.

Can someone tell me what to say on the phone if i call them. I see the excursions are under my manage my bookings and they are £0 price but i'm scared to select them as you say it will wipe the 10% from my booking. I booked in August so what do I say to them on the phone in order to make them let me have them... thanks

The Eurostar offer states that it is only available for booking made between 30th September and 31st October, although I have a feeling this may of recently been amended. The best thing is just to ring VH and ask if your booking is valid for this offer.

Hi,
as I said above my booking was made in the middle of August but I noticed on, manage my booking, that they were offering the eurostar offer as a free excursion[^] So i gave them a call, at first they said I couldn't have it as I didn't qualify[:#]
I moaned saying it wasn't fair as it was available on-line so it was there mistake, they should honour it.
She went away again and this time with the good news they would indeed give me the vouchers[y]
