Anyone not even received their black amex card?

I received my black Amex card soon after converting the MBNA one over the 'phone.Although like many others I haven't had a single mile into my flying club account yet[V]

BUT my hubbie converted his at exactly the same time I did on July 17th,this I know as I did it for him! and he still hasn't even received his card[xx(]

He has phoned several times and is told each time the card is on it's way.I asked him to call up when the deadline to activate the card (September 15th ) was up as I wanted him to make sure they'd honour the 10,000 bonus miles as it was through no fault of his he didn't activate his card.

They confirmed the first request was received on July 17th and although he's received three seperate pin numbers-no card.They did say they are extending the bonus offer for another 28 days so we should call up if he hasn't got the card by September 27th.Despite another pin number coming --still no card.

I guess the non response means we are the only ones to have this problem![:w]

I think most people received their card within 1 to 2 weeks of receiving their PIN.

It does seem like an awfully long time.

Think maybe a phone call would be a good idea to see what has gone on, sounds far too long for a normal "delay".

I've been waiting for ages as well and still chasing my bonus miles from setting up the mastercard...I am not very impressed with them at all!!

Phil - put in a written complaint. I had the same issue with my Mastercard. In the end they refunded half the (then) £80 annual fee and gave me 2000 miles on top of the bonus miles.
