Reconfirming flights with American West

We are changing over to an American West flight in SFO. On the info from Virgin it states that we have to reconfirm with the carrier. Do I just phone them ? or is it all done at the airport?

I forgot to reconfirm with them on my internal flights in August. It did not seem to make any difference. But my advice would be to follow what they say on the website and give tham a call.

Still not sure if I should be claiming for miles or TPs with them for that flight (in First).

I claimed the miles from my american west flight so if i were you i would.[y]

You may struggle to claim HP miles from August - that was when they axed the relationship with immediate effect.

Airbus did you claim for a flight in or after August?

The American west is a great place. I suggest flying US Airways/America West there.
