Forgive my ignorance here, but I have just realised that a flight I have booked from Singapore goes to TYO (Tokyo). I was expecting it to go to NRT, but just read the words Tokyo, thought it was an international flight and presumed that I would be going to Narita.

Which airport is TYO and does anyone know what transport is available there?

Speedy answers are appreciated as I am outta here tomorrow. (Might fit in a SIN-KUL run to sample the delights of Malaysia whilst I am there. Should make gold before my return to UK).

TYO is the "metropolitan area" of Tokyo - it's used as an identifier for the city rather than a specific airport, I believe.

So, I can hope that they still mean NRT then. It is just that the Narita Express is so convenient for me. Has anyone else tried their vanilla ice cream? It is to die for, even at 8 am in the morning!

SQ998 does indeed go to Narita instead of Haneda. Enjoy your trip....:)
