Arriving JFK tomorrow on VAA - which terminal does VAA metal arrive at? Flying on from JFK to St Louis on American West - which terminal(s) do they fly from, and how long does it take to get from terminal to terminal (assuming thats the case) etc?

If I check my bags through from LHR to St Louis, do I need to pick them up at JFK and re-check them even though they're "checked-through"?

Cheers.

VS arrive at T4 at JFK IIRC. HP, i think, is T7. You should have all of this information clearly printed on your e-ticket?

Transfer between terminals at JFK is easy, they have an 'AirTrain' connecting all the terminals which runs every couple of minutes. If i can fathom it out i am sure you'll be fine.

Interlining bags is all dependant on whether you are through-ticketed. See Virgin Atlantic's Statement on the subject or this thread or this one for further information.

Thanks,
Sarah

Yep Sarah is 100% correct, here is a full list of which airlines/which terminals at JFK and a handy little map also.

Once you've got through imigration at least, getting round JFK is a breeze with the AirTrain [y]

Dean's right; the AirTrain is about the best on-airport transport solution I've seen.

The airtrain is easy to use and is pretty frequent also so changing terminals is generally quick:D

Why do people keep on typing American West when refering to America West, the airline that merged with US Airways?
