CPT Summer 07

Did I not read on here that VS were gonna start a daily service to CPT next summer? If so, how come nothing has been announced yet!

Yes you have read that on here, this topic has all the details you will need to know about the new service which isn't due to start until March time next year.

Cape Town relaunches on 31st Oct... frequencies increase to daily early in 2007.
As this is simply the return of a seasonal service less of a fuss will be made than say the launch of a new route.

There will be a big announcement made about CPT soon.
I don't want to say anything. Its not been announced to staff yet. I got told from a staff memebr who got told that needs to know as part of her job.

interesting... when do you think the announcemnt will be?

It'll be a 346 operating the serivce no?

I heard somewhere that it would be a 744, but can't be sure.

I would be pretty certain that it will still be the A346 operating this service, with only 5 744's operating ex LHR now and with those pretty much tied up on existing routes/services, and more A346's due over the next few months it would be very strange if it changed.
