Hi all,

We are travelling MAN - MCO in OCT. There are 5 of us in our group. We want to sit in seats 60 A,B,C and 61 A & C ( row 61 where the seats go to 2-4-2) but when we put this into Virgin Atlantic's website it says "We're sorry. You have selected an invalid seat combination. Please try again, ensuring all passengers are seated together." And only allows us to be seated in 60 A,B,C,D,E. Is this a fault with Virgin's site?

Also does any one know if an infant who is 1 year and 50 weeks old at time of travel (but we have paid for a childs seat) would be allowed to sit in an exit row seat? As I know there are restrictions with these seats.

Finally do Virgin always harge for exit row seats now as when we traveled with virgin 4 years ago we were given these seats for free (when we asked for them).

Thanks for all the help. Great Forum

Hi again!.

Yes Virgin do always charge for exit row seats in Economy. It will be £50 per person, but as you will be flying on a 747, you can get the middle and the seat closest the door on a buy one get one free basis. You will not be allowed to have your 1year old child in an Exit Row, you must be 16 or over and physically able.

The problem you are encountering with the VS site will be due to them, by law, having to seat you as a family together and I imagine the computer thinks using 2 rows is splitting you up. Maybe a quick call to Virgin would confirm this and they may be able to sort it for you.

As I mentioned in my previous reply to your other question, using the sites Search Funtion is a good idea as a few of your questions have been asked and answered before.

Hope you have a good flight.
Neil:)
