I guess they thought that flying home after a trip away is depressing enough, without learning about that result :)

I was on a flight from Malaga back to Coventry and we were told at half time the 1-0 score then around 9:30 pm the Captain said "score still 1-0" and I thought YES! wait 'till I talk to my French collegues tomorrow.
15 mins later the Captain gave us the score. Unhappy plane :-(

Got worse on Monday morning, faxes, e;mails from our French offices...............Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!

It was even worse when yesterday I saw the bloody game!!

Am I the only one who thought the result was funny?

Hi,

No mention of the England v France score on my flight on Sunday from vegas.

Hmmm, that gets more interesting when you read this press release:

Well, so far I've missed both England matches because of Virgin!

Last Sunday I was in a bar in Dover with Pix and EuroHill - and no TV in sight! We had to be there, ready for the early start as SRB crossed the channel.

Then yesterday we were 'enjoying' the M25 on our way down to Crawley for the Virgin Hero awards, and again missed the match.

But you know - both events were probably the most enjoyable days in a long time, and I'd be willing to miss the rest of the matches (especially if they go the way of the French match) for another jolly with the Virgin crowd!

Well done Virgin team - you really know how to put on a great event!

Rob.
