V-Flyer

When fares are first released on the VS website (ie 336 before the flight) are only certain fares released? I am looking to book PE for early next September but can only find W fares, no S or K class. How soon will it take VS to release the other fars or if I ring the Frequent Flyer people will they be able to give me prices for S & K fares?

Correct, only certain 'published' fares need to be published that far out. They don't have to release S & K fares, sometimes...

Thanks Richard, so does that mean I will have to wait a few weeks/months to be able to get S&K fares? Or will VS be able to give me them if I call?

You will have to wait - Neil - they will release them when they need to from a marketing point of view!!

Though if you have an ExpertFlyer sub ....

Won't that just enable me to see what fares are still available, not what prices they are/be able to book them? God this fare stuff confuses me[?]

Expertflyer will tell you the fares available in all buckets, as well as availability. The fares may change, or new ones may become available (special offers, for example) if you are looking at flights some way off, but it's accurate at the time you run the query.

What destination are you looking for, Neil?
