Having had a look at currency rates for my forthcoming trip to Disney i see that Virgin Atlantic are now offering a currency service through American Express.:)

You would have thought that by ordering through them in this way they would offer some "miles"?

Sorry just trying to build up my points for next year shopping trip to New York with my best mate![}:)]

Does anyone know how this process works? I've seen in the past that they offer it, but I usually end up just ordering through americanexpress.com.

I love the Amex service... you can pick how many bills/traveleres checks you want of each domination... and the service is really quick. I've just never gotten around to doing it through VS.

I've also never used the VS service. I always use Travelex as they seem to always offer the best rate and you can pick up your currency at most UK airports.

If you order using the BAA web site, you earn BAA Worldpoints which you can then transfer to your FC account.
