Humph!! There's no point in my entering. The party is the night I retire and post-work shennanigans are promised even if my official do isn't unitl the end of January. In addition Aer John does not reach the august age of 18 till a week later so that excludes both of us [:(]

I can't believe they are going to have customers along to a staff party. I don't have a problem with it myself, it just seems a strange idea.

As for gate crashing they normally have quite a bit of security. [:p]

They did at all the summer parties. Quite amusing really - let the customers see the VERY human side of VS

I've won too! How many tickets did they give away?

So the party ends at 1am. You can buy tickets for the bus at 1am to get you to Heathrow, Gatwick or Brighton.

Why on earth would I want to go to Heathrow, Gatwick or Brighton at 1am? Why not central London? The trains don't run from Gatwick (which is only a few mins away) until 3am-4am... Can I fly to central London from Gatwick at 1am? No. Huh? I just don't get it.

I got two tickets too - sounds like enough for a v-flyer table! Only trouble is, nobody to go with - my wife is in Portugal for that weekend. Still it shouldnt be too hard to find a single male friend to come to a party with a thousand air hostesses!
