Can someone gift me miles but pay using my Amex credit card (so that I get even more miles?

The way that I have understood the T&C's is that for somebody to "gift" you some miles they must have a FC account, but there should be no reason why they cannot pay on your CC.

I was looking at this myself the other day and would also be interested to know.

Thanks for this - they do have an account and will hopefully try to buy some soon - will let you know when I do if using my card was possible.
