Hi,
I am travelling on VS300 UC next Friday and Wifey is travelling on VS 400 in Y, as they depart within 30 minutes of each other we will be checking-in at the same time. Will I be allowed to take the wife to UC check-in as 'my guest' or will she have to join the line for Y?
Now, I am not expecting her to be able to use fast track security[V], but was rather hoping she would avoid the long Friday night Y check-in queues, so as to take advantage of 'some hospitality'(hic)! in the Clubhouse.
Many thanks
Mark.

Hi,
It shouldn't be a problem, I have done it before, and they have checked my Y pax in for me.
Bring on the champers eh! [y]

I've also done this without issue.

Its fine, you are allowed one guest at Upper check-in if you are Au, and also a guest at PE check-in if you are Ag. A blind eye if often turned if you have two guests, as long as you are not taking liberties.
Thanks,
Sarah

I am sure I know the answer to this one... but can a FC Red member travelling in UC have a guest [who is in Y] check in with them? I am guessing the official line is no, but you may be able to smile nicely at the ground staff if things are quiet.
Thanks
James

They will definitely let you check in together!! Ive actually had my inlaws and their 2 kids check in with me at UC before - sometimes things like that just depend on how busy they are - but yoru wife - no problem!

Shouldn't be a problem with security either - two in UC and two (me[n] included) in PE at fast-track once and that was fine. The agent agent actually expressed her sympathies as I was only in PE;)

When we used to stay with friends in Santa Monica a few years ago our host (an Au card holder) used to come with us to the airport and, if there wasn't a UC line, would get us checked in at the UC desk.
