Hello all,
Just wondering, be a male traveller on my own this Christmas, can anyone recommend any of the tried and tested "treatments" and "luxuries" offered in the Heathrow CH?
I know the food and drink will be great, and I’m also hoping they will have sky on for the Footy game on Boxing Day afternoon, but it’s the others like the Tanning, the hot tub, the massage, etc? - Also exactly how many of these are complimentary in one hit, and do you have to choose between those available on offer, unless of course you want to pay for the rest?
I'm hoping to get there in plenty of time to enjoy what's on offer, and probably will need to call the CH soon to book those I wish I enjoy.
Thanks for your help and advice.

They're all good - and I'm afraid it's pretty much down to what you want. Everyone on here seems to have their "pet favourite" treatment.
In terms of the complimentary issue - you get ONE treatment per visit. That's it. For clarity, that means EITHER a haircut OR one treatment.
I do not believe it's possible to PAY for any additional treatments, and don't feel this would be fair on other passengers either.

Hi Supernovo,
The treatments in the CH are free of charge, my personal fave is the Rhinestone Cowboy, this is a wet shave and a massage! Great just before a flight! I also have had my hair cut there too which is nice to have a tidy up before a trip. I am not too sure how many treatments you are allowed, I have only ever had one, but you can use the spa etc for as long as you want and other facilities. I always get to the CH really early to enjoy a drink or 3 and some food!

Hope you have a good trip, going anywhere nice? Look forward to the TR and what treatment you had.
Dominic

Hi, thanks for the very quick replies !
I was tinking with the idea of the Rhinestone Cowboy - but i'll more than likely get my hair cut before i travel down to london anyway - decisions decisions!!
Yeah i'm flying to HKG > SYD > MEL for the 3rd Ashes test, then back to SYD for New Years Eve then the last ashes test - Meeting 6 mates out there in Melbourne - can't wait! - Fly back to UK around 12th - Will need that UC suite on the way due to lack of sleep for nearly three weeks of drinking with the barny army in OZ !

Where can one find a list of "treatments" and "luxuries" offered? "Rhinestone Cowboy" for example...

Wow ... am madly jealous! Have a great trip.
As to CH treatments, you can't usually go wrong with a Rhinestone Cowboy ... however I've found that the spray tan was a waste of time, so perhaps not that (or it didn't suit my skin!).

Well thank you ALL very much for your replies - think its the cowboy for me then (does that sound a bit wrong?!)... Anyway, yeah i think the Ashes as a series could well be over by the time I get over there, but we have tickets for the last two tests so we'll meet up and expand the Barmy Army by 6 more lads, I'm sure we'll all have a great time in the sun no matter how much we get thumped around the cricket pitch!
Oh and then of course we have New Years Eve down by the Sydney harbour, smack bang in the middle of the two tests - Gunna be a trip to remember thats for sure!

Oh oh oh - forgot to ask, is this available (or something similar) in SYD CH too ? - If so, where and when can i book that ?
I'm guessing VA have a UC CH in Sydney that is ?
Cheers.
P.S - I've changed my mind, i'm not going AUS for the cricket now, not after THAT performance [:$] Will have to find another reason to go ! [:?]

There are no treaments available in the ANZ lounge that VS use at SYD I'm afraid.
It is a nice relaxing lounge though, although there's not a great deal to eat, just small hot & cold snacks.
