I booked my flight in Sept to fly in Dec... since I booked VA have announced a reduction in the Fuel surcharge... what are the chances of VA refunding the difference ?
Does flying UCS and have a silver card count for anything with these things?
probably slim - but any advice would be welcome

None.
For exactly the same reason that they don't ask passengers with existing bookings for the difference when it goes UP. Can't have it both ways, I'm afraid.
Upper Class / Silver Card / Knighthood count for nothing in this respect.
The price was agreeable when you paid for it - don't beat yourself up over £10 now.

thought as much... I thought it had gone down by more than that and as they were 3 of us travelling thought it might be worth it... never mind... just have to have something extra in Clubhouse to make up for it.. ha ha
