By way of comparison, I think I can only remember vport crashing on me once in 7 years, flying a total of well over half a million miles on Virgin planes.

I think the biggest problem with V:Port is that pax dont know what to do when it stops working (or never worked from the word go). A lot of pax wont say anything. They see someone else's working but not thier own and think that's it, nothing can be done, not realising that each seat can be re-booted seperatley.

I've been on several flights and seen pax sat next to me struggle to watch another screen as their system wasn't working, until that is I mentioned that if they speak to the crew, their V:Port can be re-booted and then it usually works.

Bulk head rows are also a bad on V:Port A/C as the screens get damaged too easily, not sure if this has been modified with the new Y seats.

More often than not on my flights I experience V-Port issues, where it needs rebooting, or in some cases widespread issues where the whole plane has issues.
I also agree that bulkhead and exit row seats appear to have more issues with the screens than others.
I've had more defective screens and defective latching !
