Each time i ask the Virgin staff at the call center I keep getting different answers. With a miles flight in Upper class am I aloud to take a guest into the clubhouse. Some on the other end of the phone say yes others say no. Does anyone know the correct answer for this plz.

Yes. I've been allowed twice. Never been questioned.

Welcome to V-Flyer stephenmclean23!
You are allowed one guest in the Clubhouse. This is policy.
All Upper Class travelers are allowed a guest as long they are not Op-Up's. Mileage Upgrades, Mileage Tickets, FlyingCo Upgrades/Tickets, and normal cash-money-bling Upper Class tickets allow Clubhouse access and for a guest as long as the guest is traveling with VS on the same day.
Happy to help with further questions.

What's this ? You don't love your mother enough to put her in UCS and you in EC [:0]? After all she's done for you - all those nights of nappies, treading on discarded Lego and finding shops that sell batteries on Christmas Day. She'd have swapped for you, I know she would. Children nowadays. No sense of respect.

For me it seems to tbe the other way around. Since I "grew up", graduated from Uni and left home, the parents seem to have too much spare cash lying around and seem to be flying off everywhere in J (otherwise known as "spending my inheritence") and I've been stuck in Y.

I like their style and intend to adopt the same plan....

We are in an unfortunate situation, junior has decided that she no longer wishes to travel with her old fogey parents in the lap of luxury, whhhhhooooooo[^][^][^]the money and miles go a lot further for 2.
By the way Junior doesn't know there is Y on an aircraft, can't wait till she goes to Benidorm with her mates:D

Ah, but the young are more supple and have different priorities. When we flew LHR-LAX out in E and LAS - LGW return in PE earlier this year I enquired of our first born which he preferred. His response was the outbound, because it had V:Port.
I hope the response might have been different had I stretched to UCS...

I've flown before in UC, with my parents and family in Y.... Last family holiday, I did use miles so my parents could sit in UC with me but left the two monkeys back in Y. Just about to book UVF for me, LadyS and my parents, parents in PE and us in UC.
Jaguar, Does this mean you are going on holiday even more?

Thanks,
Richard

Shame on you all those having your parents sitting at the back whilst you are pampering up front [V] LOL
After saving miles for a few years I have finally got enough to treat my dad for a single UCS from HKG (he is getting old). Meanwhile I forked out a Y ticket for myself and mum on the same flight this coming June. I'm looking forward to trying out the HKG Clubhouse as a guest. After that I should have enough miles to treat them both back to HKG on UCS.
Then I have to start all over again to treat myself in UCS [:#]
