When do you receive your Card

You can tell I am new to this forum! Questions everywhere!!
I have applied and received my membership number for the flying club. I was wondering when I receive my card? Is it after my first trip? I have 3 hotel rooms booked with it and my trip to Cuba. Will I not receive it until I have stayed in the hotel?

Correct - your membership card will be issued after your first flight.

Never! VS is having terrible trouble issuing cards... It feels like you never have one; jokes aside, it's taking VS ages to issue new cards. If you complain to FC about it, they just say they're having problems with the vendor ... they've been saying that all year!

I recommended a relative to Flying Club through Miles More Friends & they had their Red FC card on the doormat 9 days after they got back from their first VS round trip, if this is any help. (This was only last week too).

On the other hand, My wife and I have been flying VS for a few years now, mostly UC, and she STILL doersn't have her card, despite a number of emails and calls.

Qualified for my Gold Card on Saturday on the outward journey to SFO, arrived home today (Sat) to find the Gold card and Tags.

My Gold renewal took ages, but that was when VS were changing the design and had a backlog. However, since then I have received two further kits - I really must ebay them someday, you never know what some trumped-up, self opinionated poseur would bid for them to attempt to impress his VS mates!

Same as ukcobra, qualified for Gold on 25th Nov to JFK, arrived home on 30th Nov, and the Gold card and tags were already there.

Very impressed!
