Hey...

I'm am off to JNB this Friday and was wondering if there is some website somewhere that would tell me which specific 747 will be flying me that day.

I could just wait until I get to the airport, but let's face it...I'm not going to be doing any work that morning (even though I am in the office, I'll be set to "vacation" mode) so I need something to fill my time.

The quick and easy answer is no, VS do not release this info.

On the day you can check Expert Flyer. Before the day this is a fairly closely guarded secret.

As Paul mentioned, get an ExpertFlyer membership (if you dont already have one), the actual A/C usually shows up about 4-5hrs before the actual flight using the 'Flight status' function.

Looking at http://www.lhr-lgw.co.uk there seems to be a trend that the a/c operating the VS20 from SFO then operates the the 601 to Johannesburg - not much history to go on though as 744's have only been operating this route since 1/12!
