V-Flyer

Hi All

Anyone know if Virgin plan to replace their Nova entertainment system anytime soon. I notice the planes that have this on (the cancelled Alitalia order) are due to have the suites replaced after September this year.

I have flown with Virgin numerous times over the past few years and this entertainment system is haunting me, as it is the only one I have seen......

Most of the suite replacement threads on V-Flyer indicate that all IFE systems below Odyssey will be upgraded to V:Port as part of the suite refit.

Nova's limited choice means i've all but given up on IFE when travelling on the LGW planes. I have faint recollections of joyous Odyssey on a LHR-SFO flight in July 1997 - isn't that more or less when it was introduced? I recall none of the phone stuff was working.
