Czech Airlines Business Class

Hope it o.k to ask a non Virgin question. I was looking for some feedback on the above. Czech Airlines web site is absolutely useless, I have never seen such a poorly designed web site, no help at all. There is not even a section on their premium service (I can't even find out if there is a lounge at Heathrow or in Prague). The cost is £443.20 for two passengers and B.A Club is £461.80

Thanks !

Hi,

I didn't fly Business Class with Czech (Oct 06), but they would use the Air France Lounge at Heathrow, as they are part of the skyteam, as they use the AF check in desks at T2, when I went the check in desk were SO busy I used the self service check-in machines, then drop my bags off at the fast bag drop, there wasn't anyone in line, it was great. Czech have their own lounge in Prague. I was sat in the first row of Y and their business class seemed to be OK, pre flight drinks etc, not too sure about the food, when I used the front loo, it didn't look all that! [:?] Hope this helps.

Given the price difference, and knowing what you get with BA, i know who i'd go with if i were in your shoes. I'm looking at Prague myself, they have a lovely MO there :)

Thanks,
Sarah

Go with BA,the flight departs LHR terminal 1 so you get to use the zone R check-in with it's own security point. The T1 terraces is quite nice about 2 minutes from check-in to being sat in the lounge with a glass in your hand;)

The lounge used by BA at Prague is not too bad, good view over some of the airport.

Yes, I'd go with BA too as the difference in price isn't too much and you'll have much more confidence in the product. Plus, the overall lounge facilities are likely to be far better.

VS.

I booked two Club tickets today. Noticed that B.A no longer allow you to pre book in Club (unless the ticket is a full fare). Bit of a shame really, it's a pain on the way back when you don't have easy access to a P.C
