Does anyone know when VWEB will join the service?[?]
From all pictures that I can find, she took her first test flight on 15 Nov, then be painted in VS outfit by 7 Dec. Surely she will be with us soon, the question is when? [i]
I will on Saturday to PVG, is there any chance that she make her first commercial flight on this route? [|:)]

It's just popped up on my Heathrow acars: (15 Dec)
ACARS mode: 2 Aircraft reg: .G-VWEB
Message label: HF Block id: 0 Msg. no: 0000
Flight id: AP787F

Flight AP787F don't know where the AP came from maybe a mistake but it seems it's around the UK somewhere.

G-VWEB is not showing up in the
CAA G-INFO database so it's not been registered to VS yet.

From what I've seen, it will enter service or at least be delivered on December 20th.

I think what it was, was it was doing a test flight out of TLS but somehow picked it up on UK acars and also it might still carry its Airbus/French registration it should be programmed into its ACARS in the FMC as G-VWEB. In the messege contect Message content:-
N43'411 E001'143 this might have been the co-ordinates of its flying position? If so this brings it near to Verin in NW Spain.

Ok, I won't have it tomorrow then, nevermind.
Tomorrow will be my 18th VS flight this year, and 19 in total when I return at the end of December.
I will have at least 12 VS flights next year, hopefully I will be on the first commerial flight with one the 346s joining next year.
Merry Christmas to everyone!

She looks good, although the new livery always gives me a bit of a shock each time I see it[:I]
Don't quote me on this, but I should think that she will have the new Y/PE seats.

The revised livery looks more white than silver now - although it could be the light in that pic.

All new aircraft will have both new Y and new PE seats as well as, obviously, the new config.

G-VWEB is due to enter revenue service on December 23rd. Anyone lucky enough to be travelling that day may get to be one of the first to fly on Surfer Girl.

I had the pleasure of flying back from DEL on VWEB in UC on the 8th. You could really tell it was a new aircraft as all the little nooks were still clean and free from the detritus that builds up around the suite seat. The staff all knew it was a new one and seemed genuinely excited about it.
Was a fantastic flight overall, makes me glad I dont fly BA anymore!
