V-Flyer

On Qatar`s website it says I can earn/redeem miles from partner airlines that includes VA. On Virgin`s website it does not mention Qatar Airways. Does anyone know any details on this?

The same question was asked on Flyertalk. last week.

According to the single reply the poster got there, it isn't possible to earn VS miles on Qatar, as VS partner with Gulf Air. [?]

I don't know if anyone here knows any more detail.
