Anyone else get the latest PE Offer (50% miles) email?

No, I'm not about to start the third thread on it - this is a different thing.

Did anyone else notice the identially sized BMI tail picture, next to the VS tail picture in the two boxes on the right hand side? Given that the offer (apart from spending with BMI) has s*d all to do with BD - I wonder...

Something going on? [:?]

I wonder indeed![:?]
See what you mean though, two equally sized photos next to each other. However, this rumour has been around for a few months now.

Slightly off topic but did anyone also notice that it tells you at the bottom the new p/e seats wouldn't be rolled out to the lgw fleet till 2008.

How strange[:?], never noticed it when I read the email either, it must be there due to the mention of you being able to spend the extra miles on a BD flight around Europe!

David - it has been mentioned in a couple of threads that the new PE seats wont be installed on the LGW/MAN a/c until 2008, they are currently doing the A340's and then the LHR 744's, as usual LHR first then LGW, Im afraid.

I noticed this on the VS website too... BD tail with no reference to BD in the page.

Well the first line of the spend your miles section offers a BD flight in Y to Europe:

12,500 Ð bmi Economy round trip flight to the UK and Europe

So maybe this has something to do with it?

I spotted the tail, then hunted around the email for the mention of bmi. In hindsight, it does seem rather odd to give bmi such equal billing for such a fleeting reason. Perhaps, Paul, you're onto something here.

Maybe its a little message to all those in the know - which I missed and had to root around my deleted messages to find.
Hmmm, come on, lets have Virgin UK. Sod my carbon footprint, I would fly short haul (and it would probably get up and running before Virgin America :)
