Hi Mark,

My mum used them for a while but changed over to ntl.

As far as i am aware you dont get any airmiles bonus when signing up to them.

I have used virgin.net for years, in fact probably since they started up. [:I]

I have never had a problem with them, but have never heard of any sort of promotion that offers FC points.

It is all part of the NTL empire new AFAIK.

Same with me - had a Virgin email account since about 1985!!!

And no, there is no benefit of Airmiles although they do give you a £20 voucher for Virgin Wine !!

No AFAIK they dont.

BUT NTL:Telewest and Virgin.net are becoming Virgin Media on 14th Feb so maybe we will see some kind of miles thing tied in with that- somehow I doubt it though

None of the Virgin companies have tie ups with VS. I've asked V Mobile countless times if a tie up would ever be possible as I've been with them from more or less the word go. They said it was been considered but that was several years ago now.

The problem is that for a lot of Virgin companies now it's only the Virgin name that ties in. V Mobile and V Net are no longer Virgin companies but just use the Virgin name.

True a bit like the whole earning miles on DJ thing.

But the new Virgin Media company is very much Virgin- SRB is the majority shareholder at something like 65%.

When Virgin Money first started I got a point for every pound invested, or something like that. That was a LONG time ago, though. [:I]

Also, the new gambling arms of the Virgin empire seem to have plenty of tie-in promotions.

Virgin Wines have a tie-in too - you get 750 miles IIRC for each case of wine ordered.
