They have to paint it surely, those stickers cannot last much more than a couple of weeks...

BD are struggling like hell with their aircraft availability for long haul - leasing metal from Europe, cancelling flights, one A330 out of action for months...

...and they've given one to VK to use? [:0][:?]

I think the 330 is only for charter flights- I did read somewhere it was for Haji filights. I believe it is only for a couple of months hence the stickers and not real paint.

According to jethros fleet website- they will be getting 763's which will be operated by Astarus.

Preiffer- I guess BD can make more money out of leasing the 330 than they can actually flying into to Saudi/ORD. In the past they have leased to other star alliance members like South African and Swiss. They have 4 330's with one on lease at EK in full livery/registration and now two on lease to VK until May.

I think there's only one on lease to VK, with two 763s being leased from Astaerus. G-VBUS is leaving VK tomorrow for Dublin.
