Tried to pull up some costs for July 2005 but the system keeps saying no flights available, call VH they have the details on their system, inaugural flight still available. [8D];)

Works OK online for me, showing availability for Nassau flights......giving VS flights for 18th July in all 3 classes.
£675 for Upper Class supplement is pretty good considering PE is £315 each way!!!

James were on the VA or VH website?
P.S. Just been onto VH site and still get "NO FLIGHTS AVAILABLE" on the LGW-NAS direct for 18 July 2005 onwards. LHR-MIA-NAS are available.

It's was the VH website - tryed again today, with no problems - I did notice, however, that after selecting the number in party then the duration , when you select the day (18th) and then the month/year (July 2005) the day did change back to the 12th, you have to then change the day back to the 18th again for some reason - maybe this is why the error is popping up as there wont be any flights on the 12th of July 2005 [?]

Hi James,
Yes I can select it now also, Birkin and I are going to book. Can't wait to be on the inaugural NAS flight, probably book us in PE.
I want to wait until my TA cames back (currently in Greece) to see if she can get a better price. We will stay at Sandals Royal Bahamian again (we were there last month) it is a great resort.
Any other V-Flyers up for this [?] Nick, James [?]

Love to Bazz, but we have got a big West Coast toured planned for August 2005 and I couldn't get the time off[V][V]
I think Havana is on our list in front of Nassau, as well.

Yeah I'm up for this too

I'd probably book via VH to take advantage of my 10% FVC discount. It's not showing any availability for the Sandals Royal Bahamian though [V]

Nick, sorry you can't make it, West Coast of the good old USA I presume? We did Havana last year, Air Jamaica, I'm sure VS will be a big improvement!
James, looked on VHols this AM and there was availability in several categories for either one or two weeks going out on the 18th, you sure the date thing wasn't playiny up again? No UC seats showing only PE or Y.
Edited to add: James I just checked again, 16:50 and there is still availability showing?

It's because I'm travelling alone....does show availability for 2 people....I do remember reading somewhere that Sandals does not allow single people [:(!] [:(!] Hey no problem if they dont want my money I'll spend it in another resort. Atlantis looks good

(approx £2426 or £2183 with my FVC discount - for 1 week flying in PE)
All flight classes are showing though even when selecting 1 or 2 adults.

I certainly hope so Michael

Booked with VH - Upper Class supplement is £675 each way. PE is £315 each way.
I also get 10% off all supplements with my FVC discount. I will have to wait until mid-August to check A/C seat maps etc. I cannot even find any details of availabilty yet.

I'll bet - I saw this on the VH site: "Honeymooners: FREE guaranteed room upgrade, bottle of Champagne and photograph (2005 only)" - anything you want to tell us?

At £3k+ it's probably a little outta my league though

Cheers

There be no time for that sort of thing!!!!!

I've also just got off the phone with a fantastic agent at VH (sorry I didn't catch her name) - she has confirmed that FC card holders do also get 10% discount of the total cost of a holiday (so that includes all supplements and flight upgrades etc). If you make the booking online, just give VH a call with your booking ref and they will add your FC number to the booking and adjust your ballance accordingly.
VH will also give you your VS flight locator number which you will need to view seat maps up to 11 months in advance using the VS web site (provided you are flying VS of course).
Just a shame I cannot combine both the FC discount and my FVC discount

Looks like the inaugural flight to Nassau have been brought forward to 4th July 2005 according to VH web site.
Still no flight details on the VS web site yet - surely VS tickets are on sale now as it's less than 11 months away.
No seat maps showing yet either for my VS61 flight on July 18th. It would be nice to know which A/C are planned for this new route.

Hi Alan,
So the LGW-HAV on 27th VS63 is not stopping at NAS but the return VS62 on 28th is. Will there be some sort of ceremony and will the bearded one be there?
So how does one get invited onto that trip, or are there any seats available commercially?
Edited to correct stop-over timing error.

Hi Jonathan
Thanks for the offer

but I'm busy that w/e I'm afraid [:(] May meet up with some of you at the VS party on 11th though

Hi Bazz
Re the inaugural flight, the LGW-HAV and NAS-LGW are both revenue sectors and available for sale. However I don't think you can book LGW-NAS or HAV-LGW, so you'd have to go via MIA or somewhere if you wanted to get on the inaugural NAS-LGW flight.
The aircraft actually positions HAV-NAS on Tue 28th then sits there for the night before departing on 29th. Yes I'm sure there will be some sort of ceremony and I think it's a pretty safe bet that the bearded one will be onboard as he's been on most of the inaugural flights (to my knowledge). [8D]
Cheers
Alan
