Double Flying Club Miles with Virgin Amex

Hi -

I was going to ask if this promo (which arrived with my statement dated 25.01.07) meant you'd get double miles on the selected retailers (Sainsbury's, WH Smith, BP, Habitat etc) as well as the double miles I'm already getting having transferred the old FC mastercard into Amex black?

But then I realised the date for this promo was 01.01.07 - 31.01.07 -guess what day my statemnet turned up? You got it 01.02.07.

Anyone know more on this topic.

MBNA just don't seem to get anything right do they. I did wonder why they bothered sending it out with the January statement. They were also trying to say how many retailers accept Amex, I assume they've had quite a few complaints about it.
