Just wondering if VS have introduced a "snooze zone" on LHR-DXB flights? The seat planner for our flight shows all seats, row 7 & forward greyed out - with the exception of our original choices (2K & 3K). I remember on a return leg from Boston last year this was the case, ie. they don't allow on-line seat selection for snooze zone.

The LHR-DXB flight has been rescheduled to leave LHR later now (at 21:00) - hope that's not a reason to bring in the snooze zone - if it is we'll shift our seat selections further back as nearly all seats behind row 7 are available!

Hi,

I flew to DXB in December, and there wasn't a snooze zone on board, we were sat in 4K and 5K. This could of changed for the new year though. Maybe worth a call to the Premier Team to double check.

Would you let us know the outcome?

Thanks Dominic

When the flights to DXB first started the departure time was 9pm but I was not aware of any snooze zone on board

I have a May flightt DXB planned and very few of the front seats are blocked out - in fact I managed to grab 2K [y]. I suspect the blocked seats had already been allocated to pax.

BTW, VS have just changed my departure to 2100, so I guess it is reverting to the old time.

Flew to DXB in UC in the Summer in 5K and there wasn't a snooze-zone.

My parents did LHR-DXB last November in UC (in 4A / 4D) and this was not a snooze zone. They did add that on-board service was not over forthcoming on the outbound leg (the crew just hid in the Galleys for the duration of the flight / if you wanted anything, you had to push the call button), so make good use of the Clubhouse then sleep on the plane.

Kraken - that was the opposite of my experience. It was the best flight I've had in all of over ten years of flying with VS; the crew could not have been more attentive even with address by name.
