Well, i say lost, misplaced is more accurate. I saw it yesterday at the office - 60 odd miles away.

Anyway, anyone have any idea if this will be an issue? Can check-in actually see that i have paid APD already?

I'm going to print out the Paypal payment so i can prove i paid it, i am just wondering how anal they are about having the proper reciept and whether i'll get any grief? I cant see anywhere on the VS website that verifies i have paid! This really sucks!

Thanks,
Sarah

HF, I'm sure you will not have a problem, the check-in staff can probably identify those who have paid, other wise how would they know who to charge? It must be on their system.

Enjoy the flight, snow mostly gone now but a freezing night forecast so you may have a slight delay.

Well I am sure that your Pay pal reciept is going to be good - and maybe your credit card statement if it is on there too?

But surely they must know at VS as they are going to have to raise the charge with anyone who hasn't paid it yet arent they?

Im sure you will be OK - worse comes to the worse just say you know Richard!! ( they wont know if you mean Branson or Mannion[:w])

Thanks guys, i am in the 'Defcon panic' stage ... Richard isnt here and now i am worrying about everything going smoothly tomorrow. It's amazing that i have traveled on my own before isnt it?

Bazz - I am sure i'll handle a slight delay in the Clubhouse :D

Thanks,
Sarah

The paypal receipt is actually what passengers have been advised to bring as proof of payment!

Hello from the LHR CH!

Turns out my worries were unfounded, the polo shirted chaps organising the APD already knew I had paid up, and they sticker your BP accordingly - Red for not paid, Green for paid. Didnt have to show a reciept or anything.

I did have to ask for my voucher though, so double check you get one for anyone flying who paid APD in advance.

Must dash, my Mojito is getting warm :D

Thanks,
Sarah

Glad to hear eveything was OK Sarah.

You're obviously more relaxed now, enjoy a drink or two and have a great flight.

Thanks Jilly,

I am sat here with DavidM, fellow V-Flyer (always great to meet another) who is off to IAD today. Just waiting for my flight to be called so i suspect we'll be delayed a little bit.

Thanks,
Sarah

....and I'm just on my way as well, having caught up with Sarah earlier. It was a pleasure to meet you and you're right - the Mojitos are good!

Best wishes

David
