How old are the kids, where's the flight to (how long) and how well do they get on.
Assuming Y, I would suggest two and three either side of the aisle e.g. A,C,D,E,F but if the kids are a bit older and get on OK - e.g. can sit together or alone without supervision, then maybe two sets of A,C or H,K with an additional seat across the aisle.

All in Y and VS23.
Kids are 14, 10 and 6.
I wasnto sure if there what the restriction where on the exit row or has that now gone with the new A346 configs?

I think at that age I's adopt the 2,2,1 configuration and let the kids have the window seats. You can always swap around.
There's not much to choose between the seats but go I'd go for as close to front as possible. You may be over the wing but it's a smoother ride and you'll be off faster. I think there are restrictions on age for exit rows but in any case not sure kids would necessarily appreciate it as much anyway - not sure there is a window?

Age limite for exit rows is 16 years and must be phyiscally able to assist crews in the unlikely event of an emergency evacuation.
