Booked PE, but no seats available ... oversold?

Just booked a quickie to New York next week ... and on the return (VS010 Friday 9th March) the Web site allowed me to book into PE but then said there are no seats available. I checked ExpertFlyer and it confirms ... so I guess it's overbooked. This could mean two things, but I guess I'll hope for the good one. Am I right?
Oh and that fault with manage your bookings, where clicking on the flight rather than entering the information, is still there!

Hi,
It doesn't look over booked, I can see 1 S and 2 W seats.
J4 D4 Z3 W2 S1.
You never know you still may hear that beep! And I am not talking about Dale's supermarket sweep! [:o)]

I may be wrong, or misunderstood your post, but don't VS only release about 60% of the seats for pre-booking? The remainder being alocated on check-in. Which could mean that rather than PE being over-booked, you're just in that 60-100% booked group, where you can't pre-book a seat.
I could be wrong though.

Think you will be right! [y]
Just because you can not see an available seat on the seat map does not mean the flight is fully booked - just that the seats available for pre-booking have all been allocated.
If you use OLCI you will find that there are seats available - just log on early:D

Just what I was told when I tried to move from 6k yesterday. Phone or check the net 24 hours before departure to move your seat.
