I'm confused. They arrested him on arrival, hence they must have known, had a hunch or been told he had something on him he shouldn't have. It doesn't make clear which it was though and it doesn't make sense.

More poor reporting that will only potentially damage passenger confidence which could possibly lead to reduced numbers. What is it with journos these days who feel that can print what they want with no reference to any facts or care for impact.

Makes me glad I don't read the newspapers.

But having had a moan about that, yes I did smile at comment about the shoes!

I assume he was picked up by customs in Puerto Rico. Drugs would have been more likely to have been discovered at this stage than by TSA's. Bit of a worry about the guns although I suspect the key is that he was a worker at MCO and therefore probably knew ways around the security.
