Using Revivals Lounge with Driver waiting?

Hi y'all,

On our return from Sydney in April, I have booked a limo car to pick us up to take us home. I would like to use the revivals to freshen up after the long flight home.

Will the driver just wait for us, or do we need to inform someone that we might use the revivals lounge, so that the driver doesn't just get bored and go home early :D

Hope this isn't a stupid question, but never used the service before.

Thanks
Mark

Out of courtesy I'd let them know I was planning on spending some time in Revivals.

Thanks,
Richard

Thanks Richard,

Do I let FC know about this, or the drivers company. Forgot to put that in my original post, as I do not know who to notify.

I would suggest you decide how much time you wish to spend in Revivals and add that amount of time to the scheduled arrival time of your flight after allowing for baggage reclaim, customs, immigration, etc.. For example, if you want to spend 45 minutes there for a shower and a bite to eat and you allow another 45 minutes for all the other stuff, inform the drivers company to allow one and a half hours after the time the flight lands in their pick-up schedule. They can log on and see what time your flight actually arrives and adjust the pick-up time accordingly. (This doesn't allow for time waiting for your gate to be vacated by the outbound aircraft, so it is not guaranteed to be flawless.)

It has always worked well for us - good luck and enjoy!

If you book a CDC with your flight advise Premier when you book your car. They will arrange that Tristar are notified of your intention (and intended duration of stay)

Like Juliet says let Premier know you'll be using Revivals and they'll notify Tristar. The driver isn't going to leave you stranded, but knowing how long you're going to be will save them from parking up in the car park too early and having to loiter about. The staff in Revivals are extremely helpful and pleasant -enjoy.

No all you have to do is go to the VS Arrivals desk and tell them you're going to revivals, and the Tristar agent will arrange a collection time for you.

If you wish to extend the time, tell the Revivals staff who will call Tristar.

Everyone does it on the early flights, in fact i'd think Tristar will be expecting you to use Revivals and would be shocked if you wanted your car straight away!

I phoned yesterday to confirm the pick up for our car, and spoke to the agent about using the Revivals lounge on the return. She has made a note on the account that we are going to use it, and they said they will inform the company for us.

Phew, I'll let you all know how it goes.
