I have just read a TR for recent MAN - MCO, Upper Class, where the food served included Chicken Tikka - whereas the Virgin website is showing the Winter British Menu?

Chicken Tikka would suit me fine - I'm flying MAN - MCO Upper Class on Monday - can anyone enlighten me on what may be on offer?

If you scroll down this thread to Jetsteamer's post of 7th March you will see the latest menu which does indeed include Chicken Tikka

Thanks

I have read the thread - so it seems that Virgin changed the U.C. Menu on 07 March. The Virgin website still shows the same menu as for the past couple of months, albeit LUNCH - so I pressume this revised choice would be DINNER?
The only thing there is the T.R. was MAN - MCO Now I've had a couple of delayed departures on this route, but never that late that Dinner was served!!!
It will be what it will be.

Hi Realistic Flier,

You just need to remember that the VS website is not the most dynamic of websites, any minor change is likely to send the thing falling over.

Thanks
Richard

For once the VS menu looks edible to me

Disclaimer: I hate everything except steak, chicken and some forms of potatoes so please don't take my advice when it comes to which menus are good.

Dave,

I had the steak, which was actually very nice .... but the roasted garlic mashed potatoes ... well that's another story.

I had the chicken breast last week, not sure if it's the norm but it was VERY spicy. Wasn't a big deal though, just needed extra wine to wash it down.

That's naughty having spicy things which are "undeclared".

Something which sounds plain, but turns out to be spicy, is very dangerous to some people who are intolerant of such things.

I know that if one of my friends had eaten something like that in error, just a small amount, it would probably force a medical diversion because of the reaction that they would have for it. They usually don't order "bland meals", because they are too bland, and usually, the menu descriptions are clear enough for them to be able to eat something from the main menu.

For example, I remember a "pasta in tomato sauce" in the LHR Clubhouse which sounded innocuous enough, turned out to be a very spicy arrabiata sauce.
