I need to transfer some Flying Club miles from a friends account to my account as their miles are expiring soon, i keep my account active so they are going to transfer them to mine and i'll then use them to book them a tkt when they want to use their account.

I can't seem to find a way of transferring miles on the VA website. Is there a way or do we need to phone up?

Can't be done, I'm afraid. The terms & conditions don't allow for the transfer of miles.

Tell your friend to get in a quick hotel stay, or other partner activity, as it will allow all his miles to get another 3 years life.

Just make sue that the booking is made with Hilton and not a 3rd party agent and qualifies for miles.

Do a car rental, should be cheaper than a hotel stay, will probably earn more miles and will post quicker in general.

Or the fastest way to get extra miles is with the Credit Cards. Especially if you can convince someone else to let you pay with your CC and for them to pay it straight off ;-)

Yea get your friend to apply for VS Amex. Free and they will get 3000 miles on first spend too. And then keep using the card and the 3 year expiry date will keep rolling every month.
