Virgin Trains - Seatmaps?

Is there anywhere online that I can get to see a seatplan of a Virgin Train - Pendolino in particular.

On my forthcoming jaunt to Blackpool - via Preston with VT - we've been allocated 18A & 19A, and I'm trying to figure out is that side-by-side, one in front of the other, or opposite across a table?

Pete - I spent a whole afternoon searching for the exact same thing a couple of months ago but could not find one anywhere. There was also a thread a few months ago asking the same question and nobody came forward with one either.

In the end I had to ring up Virgin Trains and I just asked them and they sorted my query out for me.

Edit to say, there is a seat map for the Voyager here and also reading from the Virgin Trains site is says the 'A' next to your seat number stands for Airline style seat.

Just a side note Pete don't be surprised if your seat is right by a window pillar and not by a window, because as regular Pendolino passengers will tell you the seat to window arrangement is rubbish.

And until 2003 (I think) VT served Blackpool daily from London Euston direct with HSTs or dragged electric locos (86s/87s/90s) + Mk.3s.

Frustrated by the lack of a set of Pendolino seat maps on the Internet, I've made them myself and added them to V-Flyer... here.

VS075 - as you say, there are quite a lot of 'restricted view' seats, especially in Standard!

Right, now off to do something similar for the Voyager seat maps too! ;)

Ben

The clue is in the title:

[i]"Power point positions are marked with a red dot"[/]

Many thanks - this is most useful as Mrs Buns & I will shortly be embarking on a Virgin train Journey[y][y]

And now added seat plans for the Virgin Voyager Trains.

Bazz - I got a view of Virgin train plan long enough to make my own version of it ;)

Thanks Pete, they are rather good. I've spent much of the last few months travelling on Virgin Trains actually, and the seat maps for each carriage are displayed inside by the doors, though not in anywhere near as much detail as you have provided here so these are very useful. Thanks for the hard work!

Thanks,
Sarah
