Was very surprised to receive a card from VS the other day with a birthday gift of 2000 miles. I had assumed this offer had ceased as I thought it was only for their 21st anniversary. However, it is obviously still on, and the 2000 miles are welcome - after all I would normally have had to have v-port fail for 40% of the flight to get that many miles for 'free'[}:)]

Before some members start wondering why they didn't get the present on their birthday, I believe it is only for particularly charming and attractive FC members. Or is it just for AU members? One of the two, but I can't remember which.

Well, i got my card this year too, so i think it is only for particularly charming and attractive FC Au members

Well I didn't get mine in December so I must not be particularly charming [:#]

I guess that means that neither of the qualifications we suggested apply, as you would satisfy the criteria on both scores I should imagine. Or it could be just another area of FC that Irish members (and US?) miss out on.

Shame on them! Last I looked gold was gold in any country. It's almost as if VS have a problem with consistency. Heaven forbid... [B)]

I did say dogs...LOL JUST KIDDING!!!! I love Aussies...hell, when I went to Sydney for 5 days back in 1999, I was not allowed to buy my own drink the entire time. Nicest people I've ever met in my life.
