So can anyone tell me what they think the easiest way is to get from Heathrow to Gatwick, is the Heathrow Express, a jump on the tube, then Gatwick Express the best way forway?

National express from the Central bus station or T4 coach stop.

I did it by National Express too - no problem

It normally takes an hour but we were lucky on the M25 and it took considerably less than that. This link might help
