What does this mean ?

Have just been to check our flights to LAS and back.

I selected our seats in PE a few weeks ago but now when I try and check the return flight from LAS it says
"We're sorry. The seat map is not available at this time. Your seats will be assigned at check in. "

It has let me look at the seats for the outgoing flight.
Is it because PE is full, and all seats that can be pre-assigned already have been ?

I am hoping we will still get the bubble seats I chose originally [?]

There have been problems with the VS site all date, as reported in this thread, so I am guessing that your problem could well be linked.

I have the same problem today, but it will not let me look at my outbound seats and says to be assigned at check-in even though I selected my seats ages ago. Is there just a problem with the site at the moment?

If this happens then just give VS a call and they will confirm that the seats are still booked - and the will also update their records so that you can see the seat map again - its usually a time cange or aircraft change that causes this. ( as Neil has pointed out!!)

I emailed them yesterday, got a reply back today saying everything is ok now and I can see my seatmap, but nope still can't[:I]
