From Virgin iFly web site:

COMPLETE SHUTDOWN OF HOT WATER FACILITIES AT HEATHROW TERMINAL 3

We would like to advise you that from 17 to 31 July (inclusive) there will be a complete shutdown of the BAA hot water facility in Terminal 3 due to essential maintenance works.

During this period the showers in the Revivals lounge will be unavailable, however arrangements will be made for customers to use The Spirit Spa at the Crown Plaza hotel. The Spa does not have any private changing cubicles or lockers. We will be providing The Spirit Spa with a stock of our own toiletries for your use.

The showers at the Heathrow Clubhouse will be unavailable also, however we have enough back up water to carry on with our operations in the Virgin Touch salon.

To facilitate the transfers to and from the Crown Plaza, Tristar will be providing extra cars.

We apologise for this inconvenience and hope our alternative measures minimise the effect of this shutdown.

I look forward to eating from paper plates and drinking from plastic glasses, served by staff with hands washed in cold water...

Also the air conditioning was not woking in the Clubhouse LHR on Friday with fans everywhere trying to cool the place! Looks like BAA are trying to upset the smooth running of the Virgin operation. Its seems very odd that it takes 2 weeks to provide hot water - are we now in a third world country!

AA and Cathay both operate from T3 and BA are now running their MIA service out of there...

Welcome to Oneworld country! :D
